Our Commitment
PixBead is a cozy bead art puzzle designed around one simple idea: the studio lives on your device. We don't run a server, we don't ask for an account, and we don't upload your photos, your finished pieces, or anything else. Everything happens on your iPhone or iPad.
1. Information Collection
PixBead does not collect any personal information.
There is no account, no cloud sync (currently disabled in v1.2), and no analytics SDK that follows you across apps. Your in-progress pages, your completed Collection Room, your preferences, and your photo-to-pattern conversions are all processed and stored locally on your device.
2. Photo-to-Pattern (On-Device)
The "Photo → Pattern" feature turns a photo you pick into a printable bead pattern. Every step — color quantization, grid mapping, color reference — happens entirely on your device using Apple's built-in frameworks. Your photos are never uploaded to any server.
3. Data Storage
All app data is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad using iOS's secure data storage mechanisms. This includes your level progress, your finished pages, your Collection Room, your settings, and any photo-to-pattern templates you have created. We cannot access, view, or retrieve any of this data.
4. Third-Party Services
PixBead only interacts with:
- Apple App Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases. Apple's privacy policy applies to these services.
- Family-safe ad networks (optional): If you choose to watch an optional rewarded ad (for example, to refill hearts), the ad network may process a privacy-preserving request. We do not pass any of your personal data to these networks.
5. Children's Privacy
PixBead is rated 4+ and is designed to be safe for the whole family. We do not enter the Apple Kids category, we do not collect any personal information, and we do not show third-party tracking ads. There is no chat, no upload, and no account creation — by design.
6. Data Security
All data lives on your device and is protected by iOS's built-in security features and your device's passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID. Because we have no server-side copy of your data, there is nothing on our side to access or compromise.
7. Your Rights
You have complete control over your data:
- Delete any page from your Collection Room at any time
- Reset all progress in iOS Settings
- Uninstall the app to permanently remove all local data
